PRIVATE CLASSES for BALBOA, LAMINU and SLOW BALBOA

In order to offer input for everyone while staying safe, we are offering Classes for all levels and dancers in person or via Zoom. Send us an e-mail!

About: Since 2012, we’ve been organizing a weekly Swing dance event and a yearly bigger event, mainly with the focus on the dances Balboa and Laminu.

Why?

Because both dances need some boosting in Vienna. Balboa is a hot Swing dance from the 1930/1940ies, danced to Swingy Jazz music that can be very hot and fast.

Laminu is an “orphan dance” that is sometimes referred to as slow balboa – with all the elegance and charme of the slow Jazz music of the era.

How?

This is why we are organising social evenings, taster classes, concerts and workshop week-ends – so that you can join the fun.

Our credo

A point that is very dear to us:  We want to keep our activities affordable. As we do this in our free time, our main aim is to make you happy and successful.

This is why most of our activities are donation-based; just for concerts and bigger workshop week-ends, we need to have a minimum donation or a fixed price to finance musicians, teachers etc.

We want the dance to be as free as possible – in every aspect.
